Everything you need to know to get the most out of BzTracker. Step-by-step guides for every tool in the platform.
Getting StartedBzTracker is an all-in-one coaching platform for competitive VALORANT teams. Here's how to get your team up and running.
1
Create your account — Head to the
sign-up page and register with your email. You'll receive a confirmation email to verify your account.
2
Set up your team — During onboarding, enter your team name (this creates your team workspace) and your display name (how your team sees you). As the person who creates the team, you'll have the Coach role.
3
Invite players — From Team Admin → Players Config, generate invite links for your players. When they sign up through the link, they'll automatically join your team workspace with the Player role.
4
Start exploring — You now have access to all tools. Your 14-day free trial starts immediately — no credit card required.
Coach vs Player roles: Coaches have full access to all tools including Team Admin, billing, and player management. Players can access most tools but some admin features are restricted.
DashboardThe dashboard is the first page you see after logging in. It provides an at-a-glance overview of your team's activity and quick access to key features.
Coach Dashboard
Shows team stats, recent scrims, upcoming calendar events, and pending tasks. Quick shortcuts to start tracking a new game or create a review.
Player Dashboard
Personalized view with your recent performance stats, assigned tasks, and upcoming calendar events. Check team announcements on login.
Live TrackerThe Live Tracker is BzTracker's core tool. Use it to record every round during a live match or scrim, tracking economy states, strategies, and outcomes in real time.
1
Create a new game — Click "New Game" on the Tracker page. Select the map, your team's composition (agent lineup), and the opponent.
2
Track rounds — For each round, log the outcome (win/loss), the economy state (full buy, eco, force, etc.), and the strategy your team executed.
3
Review in real-time — The tracker updates live, showing your team's score, round history, and half-by-half breakdowns as the match progresses.
4
Game saved automatically — Once the game is complete, all data is automatically saved to your Scrim Log for future analysis.
Scrim LogYour full match history. Every game tracked through the Live Tracker appears here with detailed information and filtering options.
1
Browse matches — View all past games sorted by date. Each entry shows the map, opponent, score, and composition used.
2
Filter and search — Use filters to narrow results by date range, map, opponent, or result (win/loss). Useful for studying your performance on specific maps.
3
Add VOD links — Attach YouTube/Twitch VOD links to any game. Click the VOD edit button on any match to add or update the recording URL.
4
Quick review — Jump directly from any game to create a new VOD Review with the match context pre-filled.
StrategyThe Strategy module is your team's tactical hub. It contains five sub-tools that cover everything from individual strats to full match preparation documents.
Raw Database
Your library of individual strategies. Create strats with media attachments and organize them by map, side, and category.
1
Create a strategy — Click "New Strategy", choose a map and side (attack/defense), then give it a name and category (e.g., Default, B Execute, Mid Control).
2
Add content — Attach images, YouTube videos, and text notes to describe the strat. Use images for map screenshots and video clips for reference.
3
Organize — Filter strategies by map, side, and category. These strats can be referenced later in Playbooks and Game Plans.
Playbooks
Build organized strategy collections linked to specific team compositions. Structure your team's playbook like a document with sections and blocks.
1
Create a playbook — Select a map and team composition. The playbook links all your strats for that specific agent lineup.
2
Build sections — Add sections (e.g., "Pistol Rounds", "Default Attack", "Retakes") to organize your playbook into logical groups.
3
Add blocks — Within each section, add rich text blocks, images, and strategy references. Works like a Notion-style editor.
Game Plans
Rich-text documents for match preparation. Prepare for upcoming matches by creating detailed game plans that reference your strategies.
1
New game plan — Create a document for an upcoming match. Set the opponent, date, and map pool.
2
Write content — Use the rich-text editor to write notes, embed videos, tag specific strategies, @mention players, and add images.
3
Format text — Select text to access the formatting toolbar with bold, italic, color, and highlight options for emphasis.
4
Share with the team — All game plans are visible to the entire team, so players can review preparation notes before a match.
Compositions
Manage your team's agent compositions per map. Define who plays what agent for each map pool entry.
1
Create a composition — Select a map and choose 5 agents to form the team comp. Assign roles and link to players.
2
Use across tools — Compositions appear in the Live Tracker (when starting a game) and in Playbooks as linked references.
Lineups
Document ability lineups with images, videos, and interactive map positions. Build a full lineup library for your team's agent pool.
1
Select agent & map — Choose the agent and map for the lineup you want to document.
2
Add lineup — Upload images or videos showing the throw position. Add text descriptions for additional context.
3
Mark positions — Use interactive map pins to mark both the throw position and the landing destination on the map.
Data AnalysisDive deep into your team's performance data. All analytics are generated automatically from your tracked games.
Team Stats
Overall win rates, map-specific performance, strat winrates, economy trends, and side-by-side comparisons. Filter by date range, map, and opponent. Analyze which strategies work best per map.
Player Stats
Individual player breakdowns including ACS, K/D, first kills, clutch rate, and more. Compare players across different maps and time periods.
Tip: The more games you track, the more insightful your analytics become. Aim to track all scrims and official matches consistently.
VOD ReviewAnnotate and discuss VODs with your team. Create reviews linked to YouTube recordings and organize them into folders.
1
Create folders — Organize reviews into folders (e.g., "Scrims Week 12", "Officials", "Opponent Analysis"). Coaches can set folder permissions to control which players see which reviews.
2
Create a review — Add a new review inside a folder. Paste a YouTube URL and optionally link it to a game from your Scrim Log.
3
Annotate with timestamps — Add comments at specific timestamps with categories (e.g., "Rotation", "Utility Usage", "Mistake"). Click any timestamp to jump to that moment in the video.
4
Threaded replies — Reply to specific annotations for discussion. Great for asynchronous team review sessions.
TasksA Kanban-style task board for managing player assignments, to-dos, and team workflows.
1
View the board — Tasks are organized in columns by player. Each column shows tasks assigned to that person.
2
Create tasks — Click "+" on any player's column to create a new task. Add a title, description, due date, and labels.
3
Use labels — Create custom labels (e.g., "Lineup Practice", "VOD Homework", "Anti-strat") to categorize tasks. Manage labels from the label manager.
4
Track completion — Mark tasks as done when completed. Players can see their pending tasks on their dashboard.
CalendarA shared team calendar for scheduling scrims, practices, officials, and other events. Keep the whole team in sync.
1
Create events — Click on any time slot or use the "New Event" button. Set a title, date, time, and event category (Scrim, Practice, Official, etc.).
2
Use categories — Color-coded event categories make it easy to distinguish between different event types at a glance.
3
Templates — Create event templates for recurring schedules (e.g., "Monday Practice"). Drag-and-drop templates onto the calendar to quickly fill your weekly schedule.
4
Navigate — Use the week navigation arrows to move between weeks. Click "Today" to jump back to the current week.
